O – One hundred out of one hundred people will die.
We have 2 destinations: heaven or hell. Most people think that when you are a good person, you’ll make it to heaven. If you are a bad person, then say goodbye because you are going to hell.
That’s true. But by good we mean “perfect.” You have to be perfectly good to be able to make it. Sounds impossible, right? It is. The Bible says that ONE mistake will take your name out of the Book of Life.
Now tell me, is there anyone you know (or maybe you are that person) who has not committed a single mistake in her life?
N – None of us are good enough to make it.
No matter how much we try, we won’t make it. We are not good enough.
We CAN’T go to heaven.
But because God cares for us, He made a way for us to make it. He allowed Jesus to be the bridge so that we can go to heaven. How?
Jesus is blameless and without sin. He was crucified and our sins were crucified along with the blood He shed. So our sins have been forgiven…
Is that it?
E – Eventually, you would have to choose.
That sacrifice is like a gift. It’s up for grabs. If you want it, get it. If not, then don’t (but suffer the consequences in the end).
There are 2 things to do if you wanna grab that gift:
Turn away from your sins. Like what Jesus said to Magdalene, “Your sins have been forgiven. Go and sin no more.”
Trust that His sacrifice is ENOUGH for us to have eternal life. Trust that He is our only Savior. And ask Him to be the Lord of your life.
Jesus is the only way and there is just ONE way.
